With one piece aluminium (figure 17) or carbon fibre (figure 18)
make sure that the locking tooth "A" is properly inserted in the bed
"B" (figure 18a).

With one piece footplate automatic closure (fig.19) there is no need
for check, in fact this kind of footplate folds with the wheelchair.
After each operation check the footplate is always in the correct
position for use.
2.10 Calf strap
In some cases, depending on the diameter of the front wheel and the
width of the wheelchair, the front wheel, as it rotates for turns etc

may come into contact with the occupant's heel.
In order to avoid any such contact (which could result in the chair
overbalancing), the chair is supplied with a calf restraining belt
which should be adjusted so that the occupant's feet do not
come into contact with the front wheels of the chair at
