With Dynamic rear frame
The Dynamic rear frame is an accessory in this model, therefore it has to be requested at
purchase (and marked in the order form).
It is possible to adjust the mudguard both in height and in depth.
The mudguard is fixed on an eccentric ring fixed, on its turn, to a
sliding support "A" by means of the axle "P" (fig. 81) on which
the ring is allowed to turn and make the adjustment. The
mudguard itself can rotate on the ring. So we have a double
rotation system.
To carry out the adjustment when changing the rear wheels or the
wheelchair heights, follow the instruction below:
Remove the rear wheel (see chapter 5.5 "Quick release rear
wheel)
With a 13mm spanner, loosen, after removing the plastic
cap, the nut "D" (under the seat) that fixes the axle "P" and,
with a 2.5mm Allen key, the two headless bolts "G1"; this
will allow to rotate the complete system on the axle "P".
With a 2mm and 4mm Allen key, loosen the bolt "C" and the
headless bolts "G2"; this will allow to rotate the mudguard
on the ring.
Working on the above mentioned two rotations, adjust the
mudguard to its maximum height and put the rear wheel on.
Adjust the mudguard to the correct position.
If the adjustment is not satisfactory, it is possible to work on
the sliding support "A" that can be assembled either in front
or behind the rear wheel upper support "S1".
To slide the support "A" first loosen the two bolts "V"(4mm
Allen key) and the two headless bolts "B" (3mm Allen key)
on the top of the support; should it be necessary to move it
from behind to the front (or the other way round) of the upper
support "S1", remove the two bolts "V", remove the support
"A" and assemble it where necessary.
Remove the rear wheel and tighten all bolts.
