(1) Make sure the butts of all fasteners that are installed as part of a repair in any combustive mixture area are
completely covered with B2 sealant.
B.
Flush Skin Repair
(1) Make sure the electrical bond between the patch and/or fasteners to the adjacent structure is at least a Class II as
defined in the Maintenance Manual, Chapter 20, Electrical Bonding - Maintenance Practices.
C. Non-Flush Repair
(1) Make sure the electrical bond between the doubler (patch) and the surrounding structure is a Class I as defined in the
Maintenance Manual, Chapter 20, Electrical Bonding - Maintenance Practices.
D. If the required resistance values are not met, do the repair again, add fasteners, or use the methods described in the
maintenance manual to decrease the electrical resistance.
