NOTE 1:
Tolerance limits for the lower portions of the wing, fuselage, and tail surfaces are the same
as the corresponding upper surfaces.
NOTE 2: Rivets or screw heads that protrude above the surface are considered +. Rivet or screw heads
below the surface are considered −. Flushness on sharp contours must be measured as shown.
NOTE 3: The heads of flush rivets and screws on the exterior of the airplane must be flush with the
local skin contour to within the following tolerances:
