Select the device that you want to change settings for.

Tap [Sound Sensor].

Slide the [Sound Sensor] switch to select whether or not the system notifies you if the camera's
microphone detects sound.

Select the desired setting.
– [High]: The microphone is very sensitive to sound, i.e., even a small sound will trigger the
notification.
– [Normal]: The microphone is moderately sensitive to sound.
– [Low]: The microphone is only slightly sensitive to sound, i.e., a large sound is required to trigger
the notification.
Note:
R You can also change these settings while viewing live camera images by opening the options menu
and selecting [Indoor Camera Settings].
R The camera's microphone will not detect sound while a mobile device user is talking to the camera
( "Talking to the camera", Page 59) or while a lullaby is playing ( "Playing a lullaby (indoor cameras
only)", Page 59).
Confirming sound alert history
You can view a log of previous sound alert detections.

From the [Home Network] app home screen, tap [Camera].

Tap the camera image of the desired camera.

Open the options menu (see "Displaying the options menu", Page 35).

Tap [Alert Log].

Camera settings

General camera settings
The settings explained below are applied to all cameras registered to the system. Each mobile device
can adjust these settings as desired.

From the [Home Network] app home screen, tap [Settings].

Tap [Device Profiles].

Tap [Camera].

Tap [Common Settings].

Select the desired setting.
– [Mobile Device Volume] (Android devices only)
Allows you to adjust the volume of your mobile device's microphone, which determines the volume
of your voice that is sent to the camera when talking to the camera, and your mobile device's
speaker, which determines the volume of the camera audio that is heard on your mobile device.
– [Camera Resolution]: Determines the camera image quality. Select [High (640´480)] to display
higher resolution images that refresh less often, or [Low (320´240)] to display lower resolution
images that refresh more often.
Note:
R When viewing images from a single camera, the app will reduce or enlarge camera images if
necessary so that they fill your mobile device's screen, regardless of this setting.
– [Frame Rate]: Determines the speed at which images from the camera are refreshed. This setting
only applies when viewing images while away from home.
