Sensors that can be used to trigger smart control scenarios
The following sensors can be used to trigger smart control scenarios.
– Window sensors and door sensors (KX-HNS101)
– Motion sensors (KX-HNS102)
– Built-in motion sensors in indoor cameras (KX-HNC200, KX-HNC210)
– Built-in sound and temperature sensors in indoor cameras (KX-HNC200, KX-HNC210)
– Built-in motion sensors in outdoor cameras (KX-HNC600)
– Mobile device Wi-Fi connection (see "Using [Trigger when Home Wi-Fi Connects] to trigger smart
control scenarios", Page 52)
Note:
R The following sensors cannot be used to trigger smart control scenarios.
– Built-in overcurrent and overwattage detection sensor in smart plugs (KX-HNA101)

Creating smart control scenarios

Smart control scenarios can be executed on a schedule and when a sensor is triggered. You can create
up to 50 smart control scenarios.
Important:
R If you are unable to perform the procedures for creating smart control scenarios that are found in this
document, you may need to update the hub (see "Hub firmware", Page 99) and your [Home
Network] app.
Creating a scenario that uses a schedule as the trigger

From the [Home Network] app home screen, tap [Smart Control].
R A list of all devices that have smart control scenarios assigned to them is displayed.

Select the device that you want to control.
R A list of all smart control scenarios that control the selected device is displayed.
R If the desired device is not displayed, tap

Tap to add a new scenario.
R This item is not available if the maximum number of scenarios have already been created.

Tap [Schedule].

Tap the field next to [Start Time], select the desired setting, and then tap [OK].
