2.2.14 Installing an CNR Card

One CNR (Communication and Networking Riser) standard interface connector is supports
Audio CODEC 97 (AC97)and/or Modem Codec97 (MC97) cards. This provides an
upgreadeable audio and/or modem solution at an increbibly low cost. There are two type of
CNR, one defined as primary and another defined as secondary. This main board uses as
primary channel so, a secondary CNR can co exit without the need to disable the onboard
CODEC. The main board's onboard CODEC must be disable when using the primary CNR.
Note:
If your audio function is coming from
the CNR card instead of the onboard
audio feature, set AC97/MC97 Mode
jumper block properly (Refer to page
13). Also make sure the AC97 Audio
option is set to Auto (default) in
Advanced Chipset Features of the
BIOS.

2.2.15 Onboard LED

When lit , the onboard LED indicates hat the system is ON , in sleep mode or in soft-off mode ,
not powered OFF , See the illustration bellow.
