Voiding (cancellations)
The void (cancellation) function is used only to correct a sold item in one specific, still unfinished sale.
An example of use: During a sale we accidentally ring in a bad PLU or the customer rethinks the purchase
of the given item.
• Voiding of the last registered item - a direct void.
Procedure: You sold the items Encian cheese and butter, but you want to remove the butter and complete the
purchase:

• Voiding of one of the previous items registered (not the last item registered) - an indirect void.
Procedure: If you want to void in a purchase one of the previously registered items (not the most recent,
however), it is necessary to use the arrow keys
press
(VOID).
Example: You sold Encian cheese and Butter and then you want to void the Encian cheese from the sale:
