10. Information in case of faults or problems

Problem
The LED on the CCU-Modul is not lit
Service provider login fails
CCU-Modul is not transmitting data or
expected location data is missing
The CCU-Modul is not supplied with
voltage over the 2-wire connection cable.

Possible cause
R Connection cable not connected correctly.
R Vehicle or CCU voltage supply interrupted.
R CCU-Modul or connection cable defective.
R OBD socket on vehicle defective.
R Incorrect user name and / or password.
R Access information not activated or access
blocked.
R Vehicle or CCU voltage supply interrupted.
R CCU or connection cable defective.
R Vehicle ODB socket defective.
R Antenna side of CCU blocked by connection
cable or mounted on metal surface.
R 2-wire connection cable not correctly wired.
R Defective fuse in 2-wire connection cable.
Remedy
R Make sure connection cable and CCU-Modul are
properly connected.
R Replace CCU-Modul and connection cable.
R Check and repair OBD socket.
R Make sure user name and password are entered
correctly.
R Call service provider hotline.
R Make sure the connection cable is properly
connecting vehicle and CCU.
R Replace CCU and connection cable.
R Check and repair OBD socket.
R Change installation position and orientation of CCU
(antenna side must not touch a metal surface).
R Check connection of 2-wire connection cable.
R Check fuse, replace defective fuse.
