Guess we can pick any of these and the MX-80 will print them. Let's see what
#211 looks like.

Well, that's sure a strange one. It must be what we printed 18 times to get the
fancy parallel bars in our print-out. Wonder how we got the fancy "caps" on
the ends of those bars. Probably used graphics characters. Looking at
Appendix G, suppose #198 would fit on the left end, and #185 would fit on the
right? Let's look at program line 40 again.
Who would have guessed it! CHRS(198) gets printed, then character 211 is
printed 18 times, then CHRS(185). And the whole works is printed twice
because we're still in the Escape " G " DOUBLE STRIKE mode. All of a
sudden this is starting to make sense!

Let's add line 40 (or its substitute, lines 40-48), RUN it, and watch the print
head to see if it really happens that way.

It did do it alright, but why did it print the top part of the graphics decora-
tion 2 times, then come back and print the bottom part 2 times? Well,
FIRST: the graphics character is bigger than the printhead. So, pretending
to be a narrow paint-brush on a tall barn, it made several passes.
