Nearest Airports Window

The Nearest Airports window (Figure 2-30) is enabled
and disabled by pressing the NRST softkey. The Nearest
Airports window displays the following information:
• Identifier
• Airport Symbol
• Bearing to
• Distance to
• Approach with lowest minimums available
• Primary communications frequency
• Length of longest hard surface runway (or soft
surface, if no hard surface runway exists)
NOTE: All Nearest Airports window operations
are described in detail in the G1000 Pilot's
Guide.

The Direct-to window (Figure 2-31) is enabled and
disabled by pressing the Direct-to key. The following

• Waypoint location
• Facility name
• Flight plan waypoint identifier
• Nearest waypoint list
• Bearing to waypoint
• Distance to waypoint
• Latitude/longitude
• Course to selected waypoint
