b.7) Write down the temperature indicated in Thermometer at the moment when the Pliers is zeroed for at
this moment, the Bimetal has open its contact and turned the Heater off.
b.8) The temperature indicated on the Thermometer shall be within the specified range (according to the
table below).
4 – TESTS :
4.1 – Test Routine on the Electronic Board (Potency Module) and Components:
Whenever the Refrigerator is powered on it automatically performs a Test Routine which takes
approximately 8 minutes. Such routine will test automatically all loads (components), turning them on and
off on a determined sequence. It is advisable during these 8 minutes that the customer does not attempt to
select the product functions, as it will respond by activating Leds and Alarm, what may confuse the
consumer as this may lead him or her to tink the product is defective.
Due to this the consumer should be advised to wait for 10 minutes, when he or she plugs in the
Refrigerator, in order to select any of its functions.
In addition to the above described routine the Refrigerator Electronic Control system relies on another
component test routine intended for the technician (Self-Test), which allows the field detection of faulty
components on the product. The Self-Test is performed as follows:

Place an Ammeter Type Clamp on one of the power cable wire;

In case the temperature indicated on the Thermometer at the moment of opening is
different than the range indicated in the table above, change the defrost Bimetal.
