TIP: Currently, the
Barcode-only fonts,
such as Code 39, are
not selectable from the
list of fonts, but are
printed (or listed in the
control panel) as avail-
able fonts. There isn't
a good test output for
barcode fonts, as the
font output prints the
name of the font in the
characters of the font.

What It Does
Executive (600 DPI) - offers the darkest of
the three print qualities and prints material
at the highest resolution, slowest speed and
uses the most ink. Use when a professional
appearance is required.
Letter Quality (300 DPI) - use for envelopes
that require a finished, polished appearance.
Draft (150 DPI) - yields the lightest image of
the three, the lowest resolution and the high-
est print speed. Draft quality prints envelopes
faster and saves ink.
If OFF, the vertical print density is 600 dpi.
If ON, the vertical print density is 300 dpi.
What It Does
Allows you to choose the font for your print-
ing.
NOTE: When "A. Name" displays and Test
Env. is pressed, all the installed fonts names
are printed using their font characters along
with their Typeface IDs using Courier.
NOTE: When the name of the font displays
(Courier, Times New Roman, etc.) and Test
Env. is pressed, all the characters used in
the currently selected symbol set are printed,
16 characters to a row from code 0x20 to
code 0xFF in 12 point font.
Sets the font size from 4 to 30 point.
Turns bold characters On or Off. Bold char-
acters have increased stroke weight (line
thickness) and therefore print darkest. Use
bold to emphasize text in an address.
Turns italic characters On or Off. Italic char-
acters have decreased stroke weight, print
at an oblique angle and print lightest. Italic
characters mimic script (handwriting) and are
used to emphasize text in an address that
requires a finished, polished appearance.
