SV61831 Rev. A DA50S/DA55S/DA70S/DA75S AddressRight™ Printers Service Manual
What It Does
Allows the printer to record or log all events
that occur in the printer. The system catego-
rizes events into three types: user events,
machine events, and errors. User events are
actions initiated by the user. Machine events
are actions initiated by the machine hard-
ware or software or actions by the machine
that are responses to user actions. Errors
are events that are caused by exceptions
or conditions that cause the printer to stop
prematurely or unexpectedly.
When the logging option is set to 'Standard',
the system will log user and error events,
where the record in the log includes the
event or error ID, the clock tick count, and
the brief description.
When the logging option is set to 'Verbose',
the system will log user, machine, and error
events, where record in the log includes the
event or error ID, the clock tick count, the
brief description and the detailed description.
