Description
Control board built in a rail-mountable housing
One section of a cabinet-installed drive. A cubicle is typically behind a door of
its own.
Varistor board
DC circuit between supply unit and inverter unit(s)
Drive control unit; the cubicle that contains the control electronics of, and
optional equipment related to, a frame R8i (or multiples) inverter unit.
Digital input
Frequency converter for controlling AC motors. The drive consists of the supply
unit (aka line-side converter) and one or multiple inverter units (aka motor-side
converters) connected by the DC link. The drive may also contain other units
such as the brake unit.
