Section 4 Operation
HART
The HART communication in CI801 and CI840 is based on Profibus-DPV1
services. The maximum size of the HART frame structure is 64 byte in normal
mode and 227 byte in Extended HART mode. For more information see Memory

I/O Module Functionality

All S800 I/O modules have some common functionality. This section describes
these common functions of the I/O modules.
