Chapter 4 Replacing the Battery

When the battery level drops below the minimum allowed threshold, the LCD graphic display, on the
front of the device, shows:
procedure:
1. Remove the sealed screw to open the front covers, as in figure 24

2. Use a flat screwdriver to open the battery housing cover, as in figure 25, turning counter-clockwise
and remove the battery,

3. Replace the battery - with the plus towards the outside, as in figure 26, and close the battery housing
IMPORTANT
Use an AA lithium 3.6 volts battery.
In order not to lose data stored in the memory, use PAS to upload data (see EM720 Operation
Manual, Chapter 12) to a PC BEFORE changing the battery; OR, make sure you replace the
battery while the power is ON. If you replace the battery while power is off, you will lose all
data currently stored in the memory.
