Parameter Identifier. An index number used to refer to a parameter within a
module without knowing its storage location.
Standard Corporate Protocol
The VCM II - CFR will go into a Low Power/Standby Sleep Mode if the
vehicle communications network becomes inactive for a certain period of time
(typically 60 seconds). Any communication on the vehicle network being
monitored, or depressing the Pendant button, will wake the CFR from Sleep
Mode. When CFR wakes from Sleep Mode, the pendant will return to its
previous state.
