Drum brake (service brake)
• Brake while in motion by pulling the brake lever
upwards.
Foot brake (parking brake)
• Activate the parking brake by pressing the foot
brake. Loosen by lifting it.
The brake is a parking brake and must never be
used as a service brake.
Ensure the user has his/her hands inside the arm
supports when the foot brake is activated using the
foot control. The brake lever might cause a hand
injury.
If the wheelchair is equipped with widening kit,
there is a risk of pinching between arm support
attachment and brake lever.

• Activate the parking brake by pulling the brake lever.
Loosen by pushing it downwards.
