11 SERVICE WORK ON THE CHASSIS
Main work
–
Check the throttle cable routing.
The throttle cable must be routed to the carburetor
behind the handlebars and underneath the fuel tank
bracket. The throttle cable must be fixed on the fuel
tank bracket with a rubber band.
» If the throttle cable is not routed as specified:
–
Correct the throttle cable routing.

Finishing work
–
Install the fuel tank.

Install the left side cover. (
–
Install the right side cover. (
–
Mount the seat. (
–
Check the rubber grips on the handlebar for damage, wear,
and looseness.
» If a rubber grip is damaged, worn, or loose:
–
Change the rubber grip.
Grip adhesive (00062030051) (
–
Additionally secure the rubber grip. (

Check the rubber grip. (
Main work
–
Secure the rubber grip at two locations with the retaining
wire.
Securing wire (54812016000)
Wire twister forceps (U6907854)
The twisted wire ends face away from the palms and are
bent in toward the rubber grip.
