Checking the rubber grip

Main work
Check throttle cable routing.
Both throttle cables must be routed, side by side, on the
back of the handlebars and above the fuel tank bracket,
to the throttle valve body. Both throttle cables must be
secured behind the rubber strap of the fuel tank support.

If the throttle cable routing is not as specified:
Correct throttle cable routing.
Finishing work
Install the fuel tank.

Install the right side cover. (
Mount the seat. (

Install the air filter box cover. (
Check the rubber grips on the handlebar for damage, wear,
and looseness.

The rubber grips are vulcanized onto a sleeve on the
left and onto the handle tube of the throttle grip on the
right. The left sleeve is clamped onto the handlebar.
The rubber grip can only be replaced with the sleeve
or the throttle tube.

If a rubber grip is damaged, worn, or loose:
Change the rubber grip.
