Q:
Is any accessory available for performing an easy check of system performance?
A:
Yes. The LBK15 box is an included accessory that allows an easy check of the impedance measuring
system.Also, it easily allows the stimulus routed to the electrodes offering a combined check of stimu-
lus quality and the entire data acquisition system. Please refer to the section describing the LBN15
test procedure.

Q:
Can I have a longer cable between my Preamplifier and the cable collector unit placed at the
patient?
A:
Yes. Extension cable for the Preamplifier and cable collector is available in lengths of 2.9 m.
Q:
Can the EP15 be upgraded to include CE-Chirps, EP25 or VEMP?
A:
Yes. This upgrade can be performed without losing any patient data in the database. Please contact
your local distributor for further information.
Q:
Can I retrieve data from a session where Windows® crashed?
A:
Yes, when reopening Windows® /EP15 or EP25 you will, in almost all cases, be prompted that lost
data are found. Select yes to save otherwise lost data.
Q:
Can I analyse waveforms in other PCs?
A:
Yes. If the ABR unit is connected to a computer network, then you may install the EPxx software on
any of the connected workstations. You can view any session on this workstation, edit waveforms,
write reports etc. Such edited sessions may then be saved on the network.
This function may also be available online, while the ABR unit itself is acquiring data.
If the ABR unit is not connected to a computer network, you may use the export function to send a
session (using e.g. e-mail) either to another ABR unit or to a PC where part of the program (EP15.exe
or EP25.exe) is installed. All edit functions are then available on this PC.
Alternatively, the file can be stored in OtoAccess eand viewed and edited by other users on the net-
work once saved to the database.
Q:
Can I transfer data from the ABR unit to another ABR unit or PC?
A:
Yes. You may use the Export and Import functions of OtoAccess™ to do this.
Q:
How many kilobytes is one session (ex. 8 waveform curves)?
A:
Approx. 10kB, if you want to e-mail it or put it on a disk.
