(c) Apply soapy water to the side seals and put
the seals in the groove in each bearing cap
with rounded side toward outside. Push them
into position with the blade of a screwdriver
or the like, taking care not to bend or twist
them.

Apply engine oil to the bolts and tighten them to
the specified torque.
