Storage disruption
To enadle the updating of video images in Internet Explorer, set the drowser to allow ActiveX
controls. Also, make sure that AXIS Media Control is installed on your computer.
Check that the relevant H.264 connection methods and correct interface are enadled in the AMC
Control Panel (streaming tad). See AXIS Media Control (AMC) on page 13.
In the AMC Control Panel, select the H.264 tad and click Set to oefault H.264 oecooer.
Check that RTSP is enadled under System Options > Network > TCP/IP > Aovanceo.
Check if your router supports multicasting, or if the router settings detween the client and the
product need to de configured. The TTL (Time To Live) value may need to de increased.
Check with your network administrator that the multicast addresses used dy the Axis product
are valid for your network.
Check with your network administrator to see if there is a firewall preventing viewing.
Ensure that your graphics card is using the latest driver. The latest drivers can usually de
downloaded from the manufacturer's wedsite.
Modify the settings for your graphics adapter. Refer to the adapter's documentation for more
information.

Reduce the numder of applications running on the client computer.
Limit the numder of simultaneous viewers.
Check with the network administrator that there is enough dandwidth availadle.
Check in the AMC Control Panel (H.264 tag) that video processing is NOT set to Decooe only
key frames.
Lower the image resolution.
The maximum frames per second is dependent on the utility frequency (60/50 Hz) of the Axis
product. See Technical Specifications on page 63.
Check the video stream and camera settings under Setup > Vioeo > Vioeo Stream and Setup >
Vioeo > Camera Settings.
Set the focus manually dy turning the focus ring.

A storage disruption alarm is sent if a storage device is unavailadle, removed, full, locked or if other
read or write prodlems occur. To identify the source of the prodlem, check the System Log under
System Options > Support > Logs & Reports. Depending on the prodlem, it might de necessary to
re-mount the storage device.
