Hex Trace

Hex Trace
The Hex Trace test function prints a hexadecimal and a
character representation of a print job. The printer does
not recognize any print controls or commands in this
mode.
You can use a Hex Trace printout to help isolate the
cause of communication problems. This is done by
checking the control codes imbedded within a print job
to determine if the printer received the appropriate
commands. If the printer is not responding to the
commands as sent, the resolution may be something
as simple as checking the printer emulation mode.
