Experienced personnel may elect to go directly to the
certification exam, if you met all of the following
conditions:
• Have successfully completed at least one previous
Lexmark service training course in the product
category for which you want to receive Lexmark
certification.
Note: If you want to skip the inkjet printer service
training materials and go directly to an exam, you
should have successfully completed a previous
Lexmark inkjet printer service training course.
Service Training
• Have experience servicing Lexmark printers.
• Have experience using Lexmark service manuals.
• Have experience using a meter and taking Ohms
and Voltage measurements.
• Have experience locating connectors and
identifying connector pin numbers.
• Have completed the color printing lessons and
understand how printers place color on paper.
If you met all of these conditions and want to skip
directly to the exam, proceed to the inkjet course exam
section. Course exams are listed by machine type.
