Print Cartridges
With the exception of the 4076 II and 4076 IIc, all
Lexmark inkjet printers have bidirectional
communications capabilities between the host PC
and printer.
The printer receives commands in the form of an
electronic data stream via the parallel port connector.
Service Training
The printer logic receives and translates the electronic
data stream into carrier returns, line spacing,
characters, or graphics as instructed.
