Lexmark inkjet printers typically use one paper feed
motor to feed paper from the sheet feeder to the exit
tray.
The paper path on the majority of Lexmark inkjet
printers is short. In many instances, the trailing edge of
the paper is still in the sheet feeder while the leading
edge is moving into the exit tray during the print
process.
Let's look at two types of paper feed mechanisms
that are commonly used in Lexmark inkjet printers.
