4.2.2 Disassembly, Inspection, Repair, and Assembly of Cylinder Head Group

4.2.2.1 Exploded View for Assembly of Cylinder Head Cover
4.2.2.2 Cylinder Head Cover DisassemblyProcedures
1) Loosen the bolts of cylinder head cover in turn.
2) Vertically pull up the cylinder head cover and cylinder head cover gasket.
4.2.2.3 Inspection and Maintenance of Cylinder Head
1) Observe the cylinder head cover for presence of cracking. Upon detection of cracking,
replace with new cylinder head cover.
2) In the case of oil leakage from the cylinder head cover gasket, check for cylinder head
gasket failure, and replace the cylinder head cover gasket.
3) The cylinder head cover gaskets can be used only once. Replace with new ones in
event of repair.
4.2.2.4 Cylinder Head Cover Assembly Procedures
1) Before assembly, check the cylinder head cover gasket and cylinder head surface for
presence of manufacturing and operation defects and damages.
