3.2.4 Abnormal Oil Pressure of Diesel Engine

3.2.5 Diesel Engine Overheating

1 Long-time overloaded running of
diesel engine
2 Poor combustion
3 Engine oil temperature too high
Cause
Reduce the load
Check the fuel injection status and fuel supply advance angle.
Check fuel , and replace if necessary
Check and replace piston rings and when necessary
replace cylinder sleeves and pistons.
Check valve clearances and valve airtightness and
grind the valves.
Check cylinder gasket for presence of air leakage and
solve the leaks (if any).
Clean or replace element
Check and clean exhaust passage and muffler.
Check and solve cause.
Troubleshooting
Add to specified level.
Overhaul or replace
Clean, replace engine oil filter element
Overhaul or replace
Check the engine oil trademark, find out the cause,
and replace engine oil.
Replace oil pump
Check and replace
Check and do appropriate treatment
