5. Separately drain each anesthetic agent reservoir as follows:
WARNING!
a. Unscrew the agent filler cap approximately two turns counterclockwise.
b. Carefully remove the drain nipple from the bottom of the reservoir to be drained
(see Figure 7-3).
c. Allow the anesthetic agent to drain into a plastic container.
d. When the agent stops draining, replace the drain nipple in the bottom of the reservoir.
e. Tighten the filler cap by turning it clockwise.
6. Reinstall the drain cover into the bottom of the anesthesia system.
7. Dispose of the anesthetic agent in accordance with the manufacturer's MSDS and local regulations.

Drain only one reservoir at a time. Do not drain different anesthetic agents into
the same container.
