Description of Touch Screen Features

1. Isoflurane Level Indicator
The colored bar indicates the level of Isoflurane anesthetic agent present in the vaporizer reservoir.
When the magenta indicator is at the top, the reservoir is full.
2. Anesthetic Agent Concentration %
Indicates the percent concentration of anesthetic agent being administered. The agent type
corresponding to the concentration is displayed in the Agent Type portion of the screen (item 13).

Indicates the breathing circuit pressure in centimeters of water pressure (cmH
4. Stop/End Case Button
Press for two seconds to stop all flows and halt the case clock.
5. Case Clock
The clock starts when oxygen starts flowing through the system. The clock stops after pressing the
Stop button for two seconds (when oxygen flow stops). The clock automatically resets when
oxygen flow starts again.
6. Oxygen Flowmeter
Indicates the system oxygen flow rate. The range is from 0.25 to 4.0 liters per minute (L/min).
7. Decrease (Down) Button
Used for scrolling down through selection menus and to decrease parameter settings.
8. Increase (Up) Button
Used for scrolling up through selection menus and to increase parameter settings.
9. Setup and Enter Button
Press to open the Setup Menu where you set/enter the parameters at the selected level.
10. Alarm Silence Button
Press to silence an audible alarm. If the condition causing the alarm is not remedied within
2 minutes, the alarm will sound again.
11. Sevoflurane Level Indicator
The colored bar indicates the level of Sevoflurane anesthetic agent present in the vaporizer
reservoir. When the yellow indicator is at the top, the reservoir is full.
12. Alarm Screen and Setup Menu
Normally the Alarm Screen displays the Vetland logo which indicates there are no alarms. Alarm
messages display here if there is an alarm. If the Setup button is pressed, the Alarm Screen is
temporarily replaced with the Setup Menu.
13. Agent Type Display
Press and use the
administered in the Anesthetic Agent Concentration % portion of the screen (item 2).
14. Time and Date Display
Displays the current time, day of the week, month, and date.
