Solution
Decrease scavenger system vacuum. Recommend
a scavenger interface valve to prevent removal of
patient gases. Also see items 9c and 10c.
Increase fresh gas flow rates.
Fill vaporizer with the appropriate anesthetic.
1. Press the anesthetic agent concentration
section (Figure 1-5, 2) on the touch screen.

until the desired concentration is
displayed.
Perform a System Pressure Leak Test as specified
below.
1. Check CO2 absorbent and replace if necessary.
2. Check proper function of inspiration and
expiration valves (Figure 1-3).
1. Remove the filler plug.
2. Verify that filler plug o-ring is not damaged.
Replace if damaged.
3. Verify that filler plug o-ring is not obstructed by
animal hair, etc.
4. Screw in the filler plug hand tight into the filler
port to form a tight seal.
Reduce concentration of anesthetic on the system
touch screen.
Contact Vetland or your local dealer for servicing.
Open the pop-off valve
Decrease flow rate by pressing the green circle at
the base of the flowmeter on the touch screen and
press the decrease button
rate is displayed.
Increase vacuum flow for scavenger suction or
install a scavenger interface valve vented to
atmosphere.
Replace breathing bag and mount the new bag
securely on the bag mount (Figure 1-3, 13)
Turn the knob on the pop-off valve clockwise until
the bag starts to inflate.
Decrease scavenger system suction.

Install a scavenger interface valve vented to
atmosphere.
