Description of Underside Features

1. Power Cord Connector
Connector for the EX3000 grounded power cord.
2. Cabinet Vent Filter
Allows oxygen exhaust from the delivery solenoids to be vented outside the system cabinet.
3. Oxygen Inlet Port
Connection for the facility or cylinder oxygen supply hose. This is a Diameter Indexed Safety System
(DISS) fitting.
4. System On/Off Switch
Used to power the EX3000 Anesthesia System ON (I) and OFF (0).
5. Apnea Sensor Jack
Connection for an apnea sensor to the system alarm/display. This sensor connects with system
electronics that produce auditory and visual alarms to alert the operator to an interruption in patient
breathing.
