Suspensions
Bending limit:
0.2 mm
Sleeve
•
Check that there are no damages and/
or cracks; otherwise, replace it.
•
If there are signs of excessive wear or
damage, replace the affected compo-
nent.
Replace the following components with new ones:
- O-ring gasket on the cap «1»;
- oil seal «2»;
- dust guard «3».
Refitting
•
Place the sleeve in the vice fitted with
(aluminium) protection jaws.
•
Fit the spacer «1».
CAUTION
BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL SO THAT NO FOR-
EIGN BODIES GET INTO THE SLEEVE OR THE
WHEEL HOLDER STEM.
NOTE
SPREAD A THIN LAYER OF FORK OIL ON
GASKETS AND BUSHINGS BEFORE REFIT-
TING THEM.
•
Insert the washer.
