TO SERVICE THE BEARINGS ON A FITTED DRIVEN PULLEY UNIT, SUPPORT THE UNIT BY THE
BELL.
Specific tooling

- Remove the roller bearing with the specific tool,
supporting the fixed half-pulley with the bell.

Inspecting the driven fixed half-pulley
- Check that the belt faying surface does not show
signs of wear.
- Measure the outside diameter of the pulley bush-
ing.
Characteristic
Minimum diameter allowed:
49.96 mm
Standard diameter:
49.965 mm
Inspecting the driven sliding half-pulley
- Check that the belt faying surface does not show
signs of wear.
- Remove the 2 inner sealing rings and the 2 ex-
ternal O-rings.
- Measure the inside diameter of the movable half-
pulley bushing.
