HEATER FAILURE

Problem: Heater does not start when switched on.
Possible faults
No fuel.
Fuse blown.
Bad electrical contact.
Blocked air duct or exhaust gas duct.
Glow plug defective.
Fan motor defective.
Problem: Flame extinghuises.
Possible faults
Overheating
Problem: Heater shuts off.
Possible faults
Upper or lower voltage limit is reached.
Problem: Control unit locked.
Possible faults
Device switched off and on again too many
times.
Corrective actions
Check fuel level.
Check fuse.
Check electrical wiring.
Check combustion air duct and exhaust gas duct.
Replace glow plug.
Replace fan motor.
