Removing Users
The configure user command allows the system administrator to add up to 15 users (login ID)
and assign each user an access privilege (levels 2-4). Only the system administrator (level 1)
can add, modify, or remove this information.
To add a new user:
Enter the terminal configuration mode: Tasman# configure term

Type user name, enter the name that you want to add, and then enter the access level to

be assigned to that name (optional). The user name may be up to 30 characters. The
password must be 3-10 characters.
example:
Tasman/configure# user John level 2
The system prompts you to enter a new password.
Enter the new password.

The system prompts you to re-enter the new password.
Re-enter the new password.

The system confirms that the password is set and confirms the name of the added user.
You can use the display user_accounts command to view user information.
The no user name command allows the system administrator to remove configured user
names from the Tasman Networks system.
To remove a user name:
Type no user name, followed by the user's name.

Press Return.

The user name is removed from the system.
