Make sure the Power is On (the LCD display
is not blank).
Lower the front compartment cover. The ink cartridge
carrier moves to the centre loading position.
Take the black cartridge. Remove the sticker and the
tape. Insert it into the right hand compartment and push
back firmly on the cartridge until it s n a p s securely into
place.
Wa r n i n g
touch the gold contact area of

the print cartridge.
Repeat the procedure with the colour cartridge, placing it
on the left-hand side.
Close the front compartment cover.

Your BT MultiJet 3000 automatically prints
an alignment page.
Under each group – A B C D - on the page, select the
alignment number for the pattern that comes closest to
forming a straight line. You can now set these numbers
on your machine.
The display shows the first group letter A.
Press the Ad ju s t buttons to select the alignment
Adjust
number you want for group A.
Press S t a r t / Ye s to confirm selection and to
display B.

Use the A dj us t buttons to select the alignment
Adjust
number for group B.
Press S t a r t / Ye s to confirm selection
Yes
Repeat for groups C and D.
The cartridges are now aligned.
