To clean the print nozzles
Load plain paper in the printer.
Either, at the BT MultiJet 3000:
Print a nozzle test page using the front control panel:
Scan
Press and hold the S c a n button for 3 seconds.
The display will show C A RT RI DG E A L I GN ?
Scan
Press and release the S c a n button again. The
display will show C A RT R I D GE CL E A N ?
Press the S t a r t / Ye s button. The nozzle
test page is printed.

Or, from your PC
Open the Control Program via S t a r t , S e t t i n g s ,
, right click MJ3 printer icon and select M J 3
P r i n t e r s
C o n t r o l Pr o g r a m
Click on C a r t r i d g e s tab
Select C l e a n Pr i n t N o zz le s .
The nozzle test page is printed.

Compare the diagonal line above the printed bars to the
diagonal line below the printed bars. Look for a break in
the diagonal lines above the printed bars. A broken line
indicates clogged nozzles. If the bottom line still has
breaks, run the test up to two more times.
If the print quality is satisfactory after running the test
three times, the print nozzles are clean and you do not
need to wipe them.
If the print quality of both lines is not satisfactory after
running the test three times, wipe the print cartridge
nozzles as shown below.
