From the All Controls window, select the
button under
ST Alarms
Alarm Management and Setup.

In the ST Alarms window, adjust alarms as needed. Choices for
setting the ST alarm limits are:
Click on this button if want to have the specific
Unit Settings—
limits that are pre-set for your unit.
Click on this button to set high and low limits around
Smart Limits—
your patient's current ST value. The difference above and below the
patient's ST value are pre-set for your unit.
Smart Limits can be configured to automatically be activated
Note—
when the patient is connected. See the IntelliVue Information Center
Instructions for Use for additional information on using smart limits.
Use these to set the high and low alarm limits
Specified limits—
based on your assessment of the patient's clinical condition, unit
protocols, or physician orders or medication specified limits. A good
guideline is + 1.0 mm or - 1.0 mm from the patient's ST, or follow
your unit protocol.
