If you mount the iPAD on the cradle
while IPAD power is on, the LED lights
but the battery is not fully charged.
The LED will not light if the main
battery is not correctly mounted on a
single-pack charger.

Installing and removing the main battery

Installing the main battery
(1) On the rear of the iPAD, slide the battery lock switches on both sides of the lower part to
the outside.
(2) Slide down the battery cover to remove it.
(3) Insert the main battery in the battery compartment.
In this step, make sure the black ribbon is outside.
(4) Install the battery cover and slide it upward to lock it.
In this step, make sure that the black ribbon does not protrude from the cover.
(5) Slide the battery lock switches inward to lock them.
CAUTION
The iPAD can be turned on only when the
battery lock switches have locked.
