CAUTION. The instrument contains electrostatic–sensitive components. To
prevent damage to these components, any repair work should done on a
grounded work position.
The instrument must be opened to replace the battery.

WARNING. To prevent electric shock, disconnect the power plug from the power
source before opening the instrument.
1. Opening the instrument:
a. Switch off the instrument and disconnect the power plug.
b. Unscrew and remove the two rear–panel feet (two Phillips screws each).
c. Remove the top and bottom covers towards the rear (see Figure 6–1).

2. Removing the front panel:
a. Undo the two trim screws on the front panel.
