The upper blocking distance (= UB) is the minimum distance from the reference point of the measurement
(mounting flange) to the maximum level.
At the lowest part of the probe an exact measurement is not possible, see "Performance characteristics" on →
Page 17.

The blocking distances given are preset. For media with DK >7, the upper
blocking distance UB for rod and cable probes can be reduced to 4 inches
(0.1 m). The upper blocking distance UB can be entered manually.

Within the blocking distance, a reliable measurement can not be guaranteed.
