FOUNDATION Fieldbus
The digital communication signal is transmitted to the
bus via a 2-wire connection. The bus also provides
the auxiliary energy.

Fieldbus Overview" and the FONDATION Fieldbus
Guideline.
Cable specification:
• Use a twisted, shielded two-wire cable, preferably
cable type A
Note!

For the versions with fieldbus plug connector (M12 or 7/8"), the signal line can be connected without opening
the housing.
