Transmit Start/Stop Character

Code 39 uses an asterisk (*) for both the start and the stop characters. You can choose whether or not to
transmit the start/stop characters by scanning the appropriate barcode below.

Code 32 is a variant of Code 39 used by the Italian pharmaceutical industry. Scan the appropriate bar
code below to enable or disable Code 32. Code 39 must be enabled and Code 39 check digit verification
must be disabled for this parameter to function.
