To re-assign another unused device key, substitute it for
the DVD/VCR key above and then perform the sequence.
For example, to re-assign an unused AMP key as a
second DVD key, perform
AMP SETUP 9 9 2 DVD AMP.
When a re-assignment is done, the selected device key
(e.g., AMP) will blink twice to confirm your choice. At
that time, you will need to program device control (see
"Programming Device Control" on page 9).

ADDING A NODE TO YOUR Z-WAVE NETWORK

The Helix Z-wave 5-Device Remote Control with
Learning allows you to control lights around your home.
In order to control the lights, they must be Z-wave
compatible and you must first add them to your home
network.

Adding a Node to the Network

To add a node to your home network, perform the
following steps:
1.
Press HOME once.
2.
Press and release ADD twice. The red LED
blinks rapidly.
3.
Press the button on the node so that it sends
its information to the remote and receives
information from the remote.
4.
The HOME LED blinks green twice.
NOTE:
If the Home red LED emits one long, steady
blink, you have pressed an invalid key or the
node has not been successfully added the
