Statement introduced in Junos OS Release 8.4R2.
Configure the interval between Virtual Router Redundancy Protocol (VRRP) IPv6
advertisement packets.
All routers in the VRRP group must use the same advertisement interval.
NOTE:
When VRRPv3 is enabled, the
cannot be used to configure advertisement intervals. Instead, use the
fast-interval
statement to configure advertisement intervals.
milliseconds
—Interval, in milliseconds, between advertisement packets.
Range: 100 to 40,000 milliseconds (ms)
Default: 1 second
