If the reflective properties of the medium are good, you
can mount VEGAPULS 62 on socket pieces higher than
the antenna length. You will find recommended values of
the socket heights in the following illustration. The
socket end should be smooth and burr-free, if possible
also rounded. Carry out a false echo storage afterwards.

In liquids, direct the sensor as close as vertical to the
product surface to achieve an optimum measurement.
