Section 3 - Configuration
Click MAC Filtering on the 2.4G Advanced Wireless navigation menu to configure the MAC
address filtering feature. This feature allows you to configure filters to control which wireless
clients can access your network, and which network resources they can access.
ACCESS CONTROL -- MAC ADDRESSES
Wireless SSID:
Select the Wireless SSID from the dropdown menu which you wish
to apply MAC filtering to.
Select the access control type: Allow to allow only the listed clients,
Access Control
Disable to disable the MAC filter, or Deny to deny the listed clients.
Mode:
Click the Add button to add an item to the filter list.
MAC:
Enter the MAC address of a device you wish to control access to the
WLAN.
Comment:
Enter a comment to help you to identify the device.
Click the Apply button when you are done. This will add the device's
MAC address to the filter list.
